A view of the Mississippi River from the 'endless bridge' at the Guthrie Theater. Look below the iron bridge section and you'll see large ice rafts. But the rest of the river is free-flowing. This is St. Anthony Falls, where Minneapolis began. I have seen the river frozen below this area, and I would assume it is frozen further north. I will have to investigate this.

Very nice picture! I've only seen the Missip. as far North as Missouri. It looks so cold in your pic!
